Create a Folder

This includes steps to show you how to create different types of folders. Associated guides are also included.

Folders are great to display main and sub categories of shopping products, organise member resources, restricting content,  and archive old content in the Admin site.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Hover on Content and click Add New Content
  2. Click Folder
  3. Insert a title for your folder and click Next
  4. Click on the first row of layout icons to select the main style of folder layout
  5. Click on one of the second row of icons to select your preferred style
  6. Click Next
  7. Click on the square next to Display header or Display footer
  8. Click Next
  9. Nominate to restrict the access to this folder by selecting
    1. Display for specific Client Group users only and selecting the Client Group(s) to restrict this to.
    2. Or select Display for everyone to allow this item and its contents to remain for public view.
  10. Click Next to specify Location
  11. Click Next to specify your Display Options
  12. Click Next to specify Location
  13. Click Next to specify Options
  14. Click Next to specify Search Engine options
  15. Click Finish
Select "This folder is not clickable in any navigation menu" if you would like this folder to be a drop down from the navigation menu only (step 13)
