Creating a Calendar

This guide will show you how to create a calendar that has shows the months, the weeks and the days including any items that you add to the calendar.

This can be used for events and internal rosters for your team.This is a great way to show users upcoming events for your organisation. You can link events to your latest news page to give users more information.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Logon to the administration website
  2. Select Content
  3. Select Add New Content
  4. Select Webpage
  5. Select Calendar & Events
  6. Select the Calendar and click to add this content
  7. Add a title for the calendar, this will also be the title of this webpage
  8. Click Next
  9. To add a new event, select a date within the calendar
  10. Add a title for the event
  11. Select tick box if the date is an all-day event
  12. To create specific events and times, deselect this box
  13. Specify the start and end date of the event
  14. To link the event to an internal page, external website or a file select add link
  15. Click done
  16. Repeat steps 9 to 15 to add another page
  17. Click next
  18. Allocate locations
  19. Allocate options
  20. Allocate Search Engine options
  21. Select Finish
