Edit eMarketing Communication

This guide will show you how to edit eMarketing communications already created in the system; add in personalised salutations, and style the fonts.

The Rich Text Editor is different in the eMarketing area becuase there are restrictions to what you can send out as an email.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Login to your administration website
  2. Select eMarketing
  3. Select Edit Communciations
  4. Click on the tile of the Communication to edit it
  5. Click Title tab to edit the Communication title/email subject line
  6. Click Next
  7. Click on the text area to open the Rich Text Editor
  8. Edit the text as required
  9. To personalise the email, click the Personalisation icon to insert salutations
    1. Clients salutation (EG: Hi Joe)
    2. Clients firstname then surname (EG Joe Bloggs)
    3. Clients firstname only (EG Joe)
    4. Clients surname only (EG Bloggs)
    5. Clients relationship manager signature (EG Regards,  John)
  10. To add a link within the text, click and highlight text to add in a link, it is possible to link to one of the below:
    1. This website - This will prompt you to nominate an internal page
    2. Another website - This will prompt you to insert the external website address
    3. A file - This will prompt you to browse and upload a file
    4. An email - This will prompt you to insert the email subject line and recipients email address
    5. Emarketing - Option to either View email communication on website or Unsubscribe from website
  11. Hover over the text areas to add, delete, move and edit settings.
  12. Click on any unnecessary headings and text and image placeholders and select Delete to remove.
  13. Click Finish
