Edit the Search Logic for a Client Field

This guide will show you how to Edit the Search Logic for a Client Field. You are able to edit a client fields search logic to change the way the Client Search Results list works.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Login to your administration website
  2. Select Clients from the Main Menu
  3. Select Client Setup
  4. Select Client Fields
  5. Select the Client Field you wish to Edit the Search Logic for, it will open in Step 2, Field Properties
  6. Select the (+) icon next to Advanced
  7. Select the minimum or maximum number of answers to be selected, if applicable - refer to screenshot
  8. Specify the Search Logic - refer to screenshot
              i. Select Search for all checked answers (default)
     
    By default "Search for all checked answers" is selected. This means the results will only display clients that have matched all of the checked answers.

              ii. Or, Select Search for any checked answers
     
    By choosing this option, the results will display clients that match at least one of the checked answers.
  9. Select Finish
