Modify Product Settings
This guide will show you how to Modify your Product Settings in your Shopping Options.

The Product Settings let you enable options to allow you to Add Product Variations that alter the price or weight of the product.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Login to your administration website
- Select Shopping from the Main Menu
- Select Settings
- Select Product Settings - refer to screenshot
A. Variation Settings
- Click the (+) icon next to Variation Settings
i. Select to Enable individual variation answer price changes

If your products require Product Variations that need the price to change depending on the answer chosen, you will need to enable this option.
E.g. You may have Colour setup as a Product Variation with the answers, Blue, Pink and Yellow, but Blue is $10, Pink is $15 and Yellow is $20. You would enable individual variation answer price changes to make each colour a different price.
You can Add Product Variations via Content Settings > Product Variations.

ii. Select to Enable individual variation answer weight changes

If your products require Product Variations that need the weight to change depending on the answer chosen, you will need to enable this option.
Depending on your shipping setup, the weight of a product may effect the shipping cost.
E.g. You may have Size setup as a Product Variation with the answers, Small, Medium and Large.
You would enable individual variation answer weight changes to make each Size have a different weight. E.g. If Small was selected it would be 1kg, Medium 2kg and Large 3kg etc.
You can Add Product Variations via Content Settings > Product Variations. |
iii. Select to Enable individual variation answer code changes
B. Folder Layout Settings

Click the (+) icon next to Folder Layout Settings

Select "Show the buy button for products with variations on folder layout pages", if you wish to have a buy now button on your folder shopping layout pages

If you enable this setting, No variations will be added for products purchased via the folder layout pages
|
C. Product Options
- Click the (+) icon next to Product Options
i. Select to Enable ability to select a shopping product to add to the cart on form submission
|
By enabling this option, you are able to set specific forms to add a specific product to the shopping cart on submission of the form.
E.g. This option would be great if you had a paid website membership. A registration forms confirmation page would have a link to View Cart where the membership payment.

ii. Select to Enable bulk quantity discount
|
This allows you to apply either a flat $ discount or percentage discount when a specified number of the same product is purchased.
