How do I create categories for my web pages?

If you have many content pages or products on your website, it is a good idea to categorise them into Folders. When your content is organised into folders, it is easier to manage via the back end and view via the front end.

Folders are available in a variety of layouts, such as Simple, Graphical and Shopping, including layouts with or without images. Content can be assigned to a particular Folder or more than one Folder via the Location tab of the content piece.

Graphical Folder layouts show the content's Title, Summary Text and Summary Text Image. These areas can be edited via the Title tab of every content piece.

It's advisable to first complete the set up of a folder then to edit the content piece in the Location tab to assign it to be within the folder. While you are working on the folder you also have the option to hide the folder until it is fully set up.

You can also have folders within folders, for example Shop > Women’s > Dresses.

Folders are restricted to have 3 levels as a maximum - meaning if you were wanting to set up the folder "Shop" and within it was another folder called "Womens" you would be able to have one more level for example "Dresses". There are various ways to structure the folders so this restriction is not an issue. If you are worried about this set up, or require more levels please speak to your Account Manager.
