If you do not want to have a transactional shopping cart, you have the option to enable a non transactional shopping cart.

This option will not to display any prices for the users, and allow only to add items to an order. You may want to use this option as a tool for quoting, for example if you wanted to display a selection of base products (enagement rings, houses, building matierials etc) that required a discussion before a quote or proce could be prodced. 

Follow the instructions below in order to set up a non transactional shopping cart.

1. Login to your administration website
2. Select Shopping from the Main Menu
3. Select Settings
4. Select Cart Settings
5. Click the + symbol next to Use shopping cart as
6. Select A tool for customers to request quotes for items only

7. Click Save

Please contact your Account Manager to organise the text on the checkout window buttons to change to reflect the non tranactional nature of the shopping cart.
