How can I tell which browser version I am using?

There are 2 options listed here that will help determine which version of the browser you are using.

2. Or click on the icon below of the browser that you are currently using:

Firefox

Internet Explorer

To find out which version of Firefox you're using:

  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help menu
  2. Select About Firefox. For Windows XP: Go to the Help menu and select About Firefox.
  3. The About Mozilla Firefox window will appear. Your version number is listed underneath the Firefox name.
  4. You can also update your browser version from this window. 

To find out which version of Google Chrome you're using:

  1. Click the Wrench icon near the top right of the Chrome window (just below the X button that closes the window),
  2. Click About Google Chrome.
  3. This will open the Google Chrome About page, where you can view the Version number. 
  4. Google Chrome will even let you know if your version is up to date.

To find find out which version of Internet Explorer you're using:

  1. With the browser open Press ALT+H or Click on the Help menu item, and then Click About Internet Explorer.  

To find out which version of Safari you're using:

  1. Click on Safari in your Safari menu, located at the top of your screen.
  2. A drop-down menu will now appear. Click the option labeled About Safari.
  3. A dialog box will now appear containing the browser's version number.
