Setup Sequenced eMarketing

Sequenced eMarketing is a single eMarketing communication or a series of eMarketing communications that are automatically sent out to clients when an action triggers the Sequence to begin.

Please note clients can only receive an eMarketing Communication once they've verified their email address.

If you require Sequenced eMarketing Functionality, please contact your Account Manager and request they enable it for you.


This guide will show you how to setup Sequenced eMarketing.

Before you can setup a Sequenced eMarketing you will need to Create your eMarketing Communications. Make sure the eMarketing Communications are perfect and test them before adding them to a Sequence.

You can edit communications that are part of a sequence and all new clients to be triggered with that sequence will be updated, however, it will not update existing emails that are queued.

Examples of eMarketing Sequences include, Daily, Weekly, Monthly Tutorials, Promotions, Updates, Free eBook when Joining Website, Welcome to the Website, Messages & Alerts.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Login to the Administration website
  2. Click eMarketing in the Main Menu
  3. Click Sequenced eMarketing
  4. Select Add New
  5. Insert a Title for the Sequence - refer to screenshot
  6. Click Next into Step 2, List
  7. Click Add New
  8. Select the eMarketing Communications that you would like to be sent in this sequence, you can select more than one - refer to screenshot
  9. Click Add
  10. Select when you would like to send each eMarketing in the sequence list, you can choose either
    1. Immediately
    2. a number of Days After Trigger
    3. a number of Weeks After Trigger
    4. a number of Months After Trigger
    5. Specific Date - refer to screenshot
  11. Click Next into Step 3, Trigger
  12. Select the action that will trigger the Sequenced eMarketing, you can choose either
    1. Send this sequence manually via eMarketing (The sequence will only be sent out when you manually send it)
    2. When someone joins the website via a form submission (This will trigger the sequence to anyone who joins your website through any form when the opt in tick box is ticked)
    3. When someone submits nominated forms (The client must be logged in when they submit the nominated form/s. You can select more than one form to trigger the sequence)
    4. When someone submits a specific answer within a nominated form (The client must be logged in when they submit the nominated form/s). This can only be one form with specific answers that trigger the sequence.
  13. Click Next into Step 4, Options
  14. Select an Administrator for the emails to come from (This will be the email address the eMarketing emails will come from if no Relationship Manager has been allocated to a client)
  15. Select Enable Sequence, to set the Sequence Live, or click Finish to Save (You can come back and edit the Sequence to Enable it later on)
  16. Select Enable start and end date for this Sequence and insert dates to have the Sequence send between specific dates, if required
  17. Click Finish, it will take you back to the Sequenced eMarketing Overview page (Enabled Sequences will be black and the ones that aren't enabled will be grey).
