What information from the website do I need to provide to my bank to get set up with merchant facilities online?
Generally you will need to show the below list of website items to the bank in order for them to approve a new Online Merchant bank account (to accept online payments):
- A link to a shopping product on your staging or live website
- A screenshot of the check out page on your staging or live website
- A link to the Terms and Conditions page on your staging or live website
- A link to the Privacy Policy on your staging or live website
- A link to the Shipping and Delivery Policy on your staging or live website
- A link to the Returns Policy on your staging or live website
- A link or screenshot of the product area, or of the Terms and conditions page which shows:
- That all prices are listed in Australian dollars ($AUD)
- Your ABN
- Your address
- Mention that you do not store credit card details
- Mention that 128bit SSL encryption covers the checkout process

Please ensure that all links you provide to the bank are the correct links, ie do not point them towards your domain name if your website is not yet live. |
